Horizons to Hold Breakfast Fundraiser August 6

Horizons in Quincy will be holding a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at their newly refurbished site of 224 South 8^th Street in Quincy on Saturday, August 6.  Serving will be from 7 am to 11 am on a free will offering. The menu will consist of pancakes, Korn Top ham, milk and Starbucks coffee.

Horizon's mission is to feed the poor and hungry in our community and they accomplish this mission through their daily soup kitchen and their free choice food pantry, all of which are offered in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment within their new 8th Street location.

That location has undergone a refurbishment in the last several months and the Pancake Breakfast will also give people an opportunity to tour the facility as well.

The event is sponsored by Prairie Farms, Korn Top, Red Cactus Salsa, Thrivent Financial and County Market.
