Hoops For Heart

For the past 8 years, the Baldwin Intermediate School has hosted Hoops For Hearts. It is a great way for the kids and adults to come together and “hoop It up”.

The PE Department is asking “local celebrities” to go over to Baldwin Gym in Quincy and jump rope or shoot some basketball, all in the name of healthy hearts. This is a week where people like policemen, firefighters, nurses, doctors, news reporters, weather men, weather women, sports reporters, our Mayor Spring and even disc jockeys have some fun with the kids on a given day and and get healthy.

Big thank you’s go out to Jennifer Oitker from the PE department at Baldwin School for hosting this for 9 years. It is a great way to have some fun and get healthy at the same time.
