The alarm came in at 5:07 p-m and firefighters arrived to find flames and smoke coming from the roof. The building was engulfed in flames within another 20 minutes.  Smoke from the fire could be seen from many locations around Quincy.  Some of the neighbors report seeing juveniles running from the property. Area residents also say that police have been called in the past to run kids out of the building. Quincy Police say both 11 year old juveniles were ultimately released to the custody of their parents.  Fire crews remained on the scene to watch for hot spots. The property was purchased last year by Neal and Toni Hemming. They were in the process of converting it into modern apartments. The building had been vacant for several years.
