I recently came across an article on time.com that said San Francisco was the most expensive city in the country for homeowners. I was surprised that it wasn't New York or Los Angeles or Chicago, but sure enough it's the Bay City.

So I got a little curious. I'm currently checking out the housing market here in Quincy and I wanted to see just how much of a difference there is between Quincy and San Francisco in terms of how far your real estate dollars can stretch. And as much as I would love to live in San Francisco, I'd be paying a lot for hardly any space whatsoever. Here's what I found...

Believe it or not, the cheapest houses on the San Francisco market are just under $600,000, so let's start there...

The lesson here, your money goes a lot farther here in Quincy as compared to a bigger city (especially San Francisco). I suppose I can dream about San Francisco, but a girl needs her closet space!
