The Salvation Army of Hannibal will hold “A Magical Night on the Mississippi” to celebrate its 125th anniversary. Tickets are now available for a dinner cruise on the Mark Twain Riverboat on Thursday, August 20. Boarding will be at 6 p.m. The two hour cruise will depart at 6:30 p.m.

The evening will include dinner, a souvenir photo, music provided by a Salvation Army brass band, and a featured performance by award-winning magician, Major Ed Jarvis, a former Hannibal officer.

Tickets are $65 each or $125 a pair. They are available at the Hannibal Salvation Army Family Store at 302 Broadway or Picture Perfect Gallery and Framing at 308 North Main in Hannibal. Proceeds from this event support the Salvation Army food pantry and family services in Hannibal.

The Salvation Army operates a Family Store and Services Center at 302 Broadway. It also offers a daily bread line, food pantry, and assistance with rent, utilities, medicine, transportation, and clothing. The Salvation Army in Hannibal serves residents of Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Monroe, and Shelby counties.
