Good news for people in need in Hannibal! The Hannibal Salvation Army Christmas Campaign Chairs, Pat and Connie Benson, have announced the completion of a successful 2018 Christmas Campaign. The Hannibal campaign goal of $105,000 was exceeded with a total raised of $108,308.

This holiday season the following assistance was given in the Hannibal service area a record high of 755 families received Christmas food baskets. In conjunction with Toys for Tots of Northeast Missouri, 1428 children received toys.

The Tree of Lights Christmas Campaign is The Salvation Army’s major fundraising effort each year. Money raised during the campaign helps provide Christmas assistance as well as funding programs and services that assist individuals and families in Hannibal and the surrounding Northeast Missouri counties of Marion, Ralls, Monroe, Shelby, Lewis and Pike on a daily basis throughout the entire year.

456 volunteers from the Hannibal area donated 957 hours of volunteer service to help make all of this possible.
