The Hannibal Jaycees Honored at State Convention

Talk about people who get things done in their community! The Hannibal Jaycees are awesome!

The group was just honored at the recent Missouri Jaycees Winter State Convention at the Lake of the Ozarks, where they received an award for being the 3rd top fundraising chapter in the state for Wonderland Camp, which provides a fun, educational camp experience for children, teenagers and adults who have disabilities. The Hannibal Jaycees donated $900 of the proceeds from the 2014 National Tom Sawyer Days celebration to the camp, and that contribution was then matched by a grant from a partnering non-profit, Camps for Kids, for a grand total of $1800.
