Hannibal BPW Veteran Recognition Planned

(Hannibal, Mo)—A day of special recognition is coming soon for one Hannibal veteran yet to be chosen…and that’s where you come in!

The Hannibal Board of Public Works is seeking nominations for a local veteran needing help with small home repairs or projects around the house.  Friday, October 7, a team of BPW personnel will devote the entire day to help the winning vet complete whatever tasks are needed. The city will provide the labor and tools. Applicants must furnish any materials needed.

The deadline to nominate your veteran is September 6; the winner will be announced the following week. The “BPW Gives Back to Our Veterans” nomination form is available at the website www.hannibalbpw.org.
