Gorgeous Weather Ahead for First Week of Fall

Fall officially arrives in northeast Missouri and western Illinois at 9:29 p.m. Monday, and forecasters say this first week of autumn should be absolutely gorgeous.

According to the National Weather Service, sunshine and seasonal temperatures will be the order of the week.

After a high of 69 Monday, daytime temperatures begin to climb, peaking in the upper 70s Saturday.

Nighttime lows start at 47 Monday night, and will rise to the mid 50s by the weekend.

Forecasters are not calling for any rain in the area through Sunday.
