Get Ready For The Sod Buster Classic

Have you heard about this? It sounds like fun. The Sod Buster Classic is a putt-putt golf fundraiser for families in need in the Mendon, Ursa and Quincy area.

Over the past five years this event has raised more than $75,000 and given it to various organizations and families.

The Sod Buster Classic is made up of 12 holes that are built by volunteers at their homes or place of business. The Classic this year is set for March 15, 2014 and teams are now able to sign-up at online. The day of the Sod Classic, teams will meet at the Legion Hall in Ursa (HWY 61, in between Ursa and Mendon) to sign in. The entry fee is $100 for a team of four.
