Gems and Cavemen are Swapping Starting Times

There may be snow and frigid temperatures outside, but soon the words "play ball" will ring and we will be watching the Prospect League action in both Hannibal and Quincy before you know it. But, be aware, if you haven't heard, the start times for the games are different for both teams than what they have been in past years.

For Hannibal Cavemen fans you might miss some of the action if you don't arrive earlier than usual. This season the Hannibal Cavemen have moved up their starting game time to 6:35 for night games. Last year it was at 7:05.

If you prefer a later game time, then head to Quincy as the Quincy Gems have decided to start their night games at 7:00. Last year they began their games at 6:35.

If you had a choice, what start time would you prefer?  My choice is 6:35. Both teams changed their start times to attract more fans.  Obviously, they have a difference of opinions on this but what else would you expect from rivals. Regardless of the start times, it will be good to hear those wonderful words "play ball."
