“Frozen” Supplants “Barbie” as #1 Christmas Gift for Girls

With Christmas shopping in full swing, the choices out there are plentiful for purchasing a gift for a little girl. But it appears that there is a frontrunner among all of the gift options thanks to the Disney movie "Frozen". A survey by the National Retail Federation has revealed that toys from the movie "Frozen" have surpassed Barbie Dolls as the top gift for little girls this holiday season. Overall, Barbie Doll sales have fallen 21% in the past year. Meanwhile, the sales at the online Disney Store, are going through the roof.

So, after years of being number one, Barbie may have met her match. Where's Ken when she needs him.
