The popular Halloween-themed Fright Fest returns to Six Flags St. Louis beginning October 3. Featuring haunted attractions, scare zones, Halloween shows, kids’ attractions, zombies and scares throughout the park, Fright Fest is described by Six Flags as "the world's largest Halloween party."

Fright Fest will be open Friday - Sunday, October 3 - November 2, 2014, including Halloween night. Hours begin at 6 p.m. on Fridays and 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Closing times and Fright Fest product may vary by day and weather conditions. Guests purchasing a 2015 Season Pass can enjoy this year’s Fright Fest as well as all of next season.

2014 Fright Fest Attractions 

Thrills by Day

The daylight hours offer not-so-scary shows and attractions suitable for all fright thresholds.

The Dead Beats — New in 2014! This unique group of ghouls brings high energy drumming and musicianship to Fright Fest as they perform on a variety of non-traditional instruments.

Love At First Fright — They’re baaaack! The Grand Witch and her wicked cast are still in search of the perfect brain for her beloved Frankie. This live musical, a park favorite for over 20 years, includes Wolfe, Riff, The Bride of Frankenstein and more.

The Pumpkin Porch — New in 2014! Some of the Looney Tunes characters, dressed in their Halloween best, are holding a Halloween Dance Party that promises to be a spookerrific good time.

Macabre Mansion — On the eve of Halloween, just before midnight, a witch casts a spell on this beautiful mansion transforming it from magnificent to macabre. There is story-telling throughout the day and kids 12 and under receive a treat bag on Saturdays and Sundays.

Deadman’s PartyThis dancing troupe has been transformed into rather creepy marionettes for 2014. These human puppets have no strings to hold them back as they perform to a variety of unique and dark music.

Voodoo Comedy Hypnosis Show — Direct from Las Vegas, Steve Daly returns with a new hypnotic show for guests. Volunteers, hypnotized on stage, will play in a rock ‘n roll band, ride a roller coaster and dance with a Voodoo doll in front of a live audience.

Hay Maze Fun — A journey of spooky twists and turns filled with Halloween décor.

McBoogle Trail — The McBoogles go on a picnic adventure in this fright free walkthrough for the little ones.

 

Fright by Night

Freaks Unleashed, the ceremonial arrival of creatures at the St. Louis Train Station, signals that the hour of terror and chaos has come. As guests make their way through the park, they will also encounter haunted attractions, scare zones and unsettling shows.

Blind Fury — An abandoned toy factory becomes more sinister and creepy with each passing year. Demented toys taunt guests winding through a matrix of mazes and disorienting hallways filled with moving doors, vibrating walls, blinding lights and unnerving special effects.

Radioactive Rails — New in 2014! An unfortunate explosion at a nearby chemical plant has left mutated workers delusional and under the belief that guests are part of the apocalypse and must be eliminated.

Insanity Alley — Darker and creepier than ever, this alley is a shortcut to terror. Unsettling sights and chilling characters lurk behind every turn in this outdoor maze filled with chaos and fear. Surrounded by uncertainty, it is every man, or freak, for himself.

Voided Vison A sense of direction and sound is all guests have in this haunted house…completely surrounded by darkness. Guests attempt to make their way through this maze where doorways lead to nowhere and hallways seem unending, while screams are lost in the maddening music. Unfortunately, guests will not be alone in the darkness.

The Slaughter House — Brave souls must make their way through the underground corn maze before entering through the body storage room where the real terror begins. Winding through these gruesome and disturbing rooms will become a game of survival.

Freakout CircusThe Rotten Brothers return with an all new “Freak Out Circus” that comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comfortable. Their hair-raising, spine-tingling feats include fire eating, sword swallowing, knife juggling and more.

Zombie Paintball Apocalypse — Wagons, armed with special paintball guns that fire tracer rounds into the night, await those who dare to battle. The challenge is to blast your way through zombies, special effects, pyrotechnics and more.

Scare Zones — Throughout the night guests encounter bands of unsavory characters who have claimed an area of the park as their own. Travelers should take great caution when passing through these scare zones including Gnawlin’s Hollow, Sinister Clowns, Zombieville, Minions of the Scare-O-Jack and The Seven Deadly Sins.
