Friends of Log Cabins Need Help to Clean Up Log Cabin Village

Log Cabin
Log Cabin, Kurt Parsons

This Saturday, August 30, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Friends of the Log Cabins need volunteers to help spruce up the Log Cabin Village located in Quinsippi Island Park, Quincy.

Help is needed to sweep out the Log Cabins, Church and Smoke House and spruce up the grounds in preparation for the 6th annual Frontier Settlement Day, Saturday, September 13..  Cleaning will begin around 8 am or so and finish up around Noon.

Many hands make the job go faster so bring gloves and if anyone has a gas powered weed whacker, bring it as there are weeds needing to be trimmed.   If there are any questions you can email them at: logcabinvillage@hotmail.com.
