Four Meth Arrests in Ursa
Use of a search warrant in Ursa Tuesday evening results in four arrests on drug charges by West Central Illinois Task Force agents. A search at 106 East Maple yielded a shake and bake meth lab, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested as a result of the search were 34-year-old Natasha Deweese and 42-year-old Bradley Griffin of Mendon, along with 30-year-old Lester Hibbs and 35-year-old Dell Marie Yohn Lu of 106 East Maple in Ursa.
All were taken to the Adams County Jail on charges of aggravated unlawful participation in meth production.
Authorities found a four year old child in the house with the chemicals used in the production of methamphetamine. The child was removed from the house and placed with a family member.
Court records show the 106 East Maple address was also the site of a July 3 home invasion that resulted in the arrest of Travis Taute. Task Force agents were assisted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department and Illinois State Police Meth Response team.
