Five Creepy Clowns Spotted in Quincy

The nationwide creepy clown epidemic has arrived in Quincy.

Quincy Police were dispatched to the Driftwood Campground on Bonansinga Drive on Sunday evening in response to reports of five teenagers dressed as clowns jumping out of the woods and scaring campers. After terrifying their unwilling victims, the clowns dispersed into the woods.

Following a tip, police checked Parker Heights, Valley View Trailer Park, and other surrounding areas but came up clown-free.

While it's not illegal to dress like a clown and walk down the street, deliberately scaring people can warrant an assault charge.
