The Quincy Fire Department is again selling commemorative t-shirts to raise funds for the Blessing Cancer Center's Financial Assistance Program. This year the shirts are pink in color and the design features a full back logo with the breast cancer ribbon, dressed as a firefighter, opening a fire hydrant.

The artwork was the mastermind of firefighter Mike Dade. The shirts are now on sale to the public. They are available for purchase at the administration offices at Central Fire Station at 9th and Vermont from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Also, on Tuesday, October 1, there will be a booth set up outside the Central Fire Station where those shirts will also be sold from 4 to 7 p.m.

The costs of the fund-raising shirts are $15 for an adult small to extra large. $17 for a double-x and $18 for a triple-x. For more information call 228-4459.
