After a 15 month hiatus, Fire Station House #6 re-opened this morning in Quincy at 7 a.m. at 24th and Cedar Streets.  This occurrence is the culmination of re-opening the fire station plus the hiring of two new firefighters to fill the positions that were vacated in the 2015-16 budget year.

With the re-opening, there now are 5 fully operational fire stations in the City of Quincy available for response. The other four Quincy Fire Department locations are 12th & Jackson, 9th & Vermont, 334 South 36th Street and 1115 Locust Street.
