Families and Communities Together (F.A.C.T.) is hosting a drug prevention/human trafficking awareness event. Christine McDonald will be coming to Hannibal on March 13th at 6:00 p.m. at The Crossing at 425 Broadway in Hannibal.

She is the author of "The Same Kind of Human" and "Cry Purple". Her stories focus on her earlier years as a prostitute and also her expensive drug addiction. “Completely blind and eternally vigilant, today Christine uses her life experience and education to work as an advocate for trafficking victims, the homeless, recovering addicts, ex-offenders and disabled populations.”

This event will be available to the public. Admission is free. Her books will be available for purchase as well.  This is a great opportunity to increase the awareness of human trafficking, addiction, and homelessness to the community of Hannibal.
