Additional Information

Unity of Quincy will be hosting their 4th annual Abundance Exchange on December 7th and 8th at the Oakley-Lindsay Center. Last year over 600 people were provided with free items in good, used condition, and the organizers anticipate both more donations and recipients this year.  This year’s event is co-sponsored by the Exchange Club of Quincy and County Market.  People interested in donating items are invited to bring their donations - household items, non-perishable food, toys, books, Christmas decorations, small appliances, furniture, winter coats, gloves, mittens, and personal hygiene products - to the Oakley-Lindsay Center south entrance (3rd and Kentucky) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, December 7.  Please note that they are not accepting clothing.  Then on Saturday, December 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., everyone is invited to come and browse through the items and take what they wish. All are welcome to take part, including those who donated items.  Any leftover items will be donated to local charities. For more info, call 222-1077 or visit unityquincy.org/abundanceexchange.
