Join Y101 and KICK-FM on Wednesday, October 30, for “Safe Halloween for Kids,” a free event offering a safe alternative for kids to dress in their favorite costumes and go trick-or-treating. Costumed goblins, ghosts and characters of every kind will go room-to-room seeking treats throughout the recently renovated Eagle’s Nest Hotel & Conference Center. The hotel will be decked out in all of its fall finery, with scarecrows, straw bales, pumpkins and corn stalks and the lower level Quincy Ballroom and the upper Eagle Ballroom will host giveaways, food and games!
Area businesses will be the evening proprietors of over 50 rooms and will dole out treats and coupons from their respective businesses. Each business will have the opportunity to decorate their rooms, if they so choose, anyway they see fit. Trick-or-treating will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Guests with special needs will be allowed in starting at 5:30 p.m.
