The Alzheimer’s Association will hold its annual Candlelight Service at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 at Good Samaritan Home, 2130 Harrison St., Quincy. A night of fellowship and remembrance, the event is free and open to the public. Attendees also are invited to a free soup supper that begins at 5 p.m. at Good Samaritan. Keepsake votive candles will also be sold for just $5 and will feature a ribbon with the name of your loved one inscribed. To purchase, call the office at 228-1111 or toll free at 800.272.3900. Orders must be submitted by Nov. 12 and will be available for pick up the evening of the event. The hour long service will feature music, a speaker and recitation of the names of local residents who have lost their battle with Alzheimer’s in the last year. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the program.
