Dr. Oz Show to Spotlight Michael Swango Crimes

Infamous Quincy native Michael Swango will be the topic of an upcoming episode of The Dr. Oz Show. Swango, who was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences for his connection in as many as 60 fatal poisonings, will be featured in the show’s True Crime Tuesday segment on May 15.

Swango spent many years in Quincy, having attended both Quincy Notre Dame and Quincy University. He was charged and convicted of aggravated battery in 1985 for attempting to poison his Blessing Hospital co-workers using donuts laced with ant killer.
