Did You Give Up Social Media for Lent?

Andrew Parsons, Getty Images

We are well into the Lenten season and people have chosen to give up many things for lent. One of the more interesting things being given up is social media.

According to a study, 31% of Christians have elected to give up social media for lent. That could explain the lack of contact with some of your friends on Facebook, etc. It would be interesting to find out how many actually make it to Easter without using social media. It is addictive, so I am sure the temptations are there every day.

Good luck to those who chose to do so.
