Deadpool is the type of guy who may reluctantly get dragged to a Céline Dion concert by his girlfriend, only to leave in tears with a bag full of merch in his hands, McConaughey in How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days style. But the jokester superhero is bringing the Céline concert to us, and he’s getting up on stage to join in.

Somehow, Ryan Reynolds commissioned the Canadian diva to record an original song for the Deadpool 2. The video for “Ashes,” which debuted on Good Morning America on Thursday, starts off like any traditional stage performance music video, with Dion crooning her emotional ballad to an empty theater, with a flowy dress, luminous backlighting, and glittering diamond necklace. Then Deadpool shows up. He’s not just going to stand there; here’s going to do an interpretive dance, of course. There’s some footage from the sequel spliced in between, but as hard as the Merc With a Mouth tries to steal the spotlight, this is Dion’s show. (I mean, look at her!)

Here’s the very Deadpool synopsis:

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor - finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover. It will almost definitely be a reboot.

Deadpool 2 and all its silliness will arrive in theaters May 18.
