Applications are available on the City of Quincy web site for entry level fire testing.

Candidate Test Preparation Manuals, 11th Edition, published by Fire and Police Selection, Inc, are available for loan at City Hall, 730 Maine Street in Quincy during regular hours of Monday through Friday, 8am to 430am at the reception desk.

A change this year is the requirement for Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) CARD PRIOR TO THE WRITTEN TEST ON FEBRUARY 20. Those testing on that day will be required to present that card for verification prior to testing. A list of locations where the CPAT is offered is included with the application as the last page. Prices for the CPAT test vary along with dates and times. There are two times for the written testing with the firs at 9am and the second at 1pm. Women and minorites are encouraged to apply.
