Daughtry Upsets Maroon 5 to Win Y101’s MUSIC MADNESS!

Congratulations to Daughtry, the very first champion of the very first ever MUSIC MADNESS from Y101!

Several weeks ago, we started with a bracket of 64 of the biggest stars we play on Y101, and we asked you to vote for your favorites in the bracket each week. Some of the voting was close! In the Final Four round, only a single vote separated Bon Jovi, who lost, from Maroon 5, who moved on to the finals against Daughtry.

But Maroon 5 ended up being no match against Daughtry. In the Final Round, it was Daughtry who ended up winning the vote of Y101 listeners with 67% of the vote. Daughtry has become our very first MUSIC MADNESS champion! We're certain Chris Daughtry will be adding this prestigious honor to his resumé. In fact, he's probably already done it.
