Concert on The Plaza Series Starts Today

The District is pleased to announce the Concerts on the Plaza Series starting today, April 29th. Concerts on the Plaza will take place each Friday beginning today and then on Fridays May 6, May 13 and May 20. They will be held at the First Mid-Illinois Bank Plaza on Maine Street, next to St. Boniface Church.  The concerts are FREE to the public.  The concerts will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on those Fridays and will feature various performers from the community. This year's lineup will be:

            April 29 - Avenue Beat

            May 6 - Devonte Clark

            May 13 - HartLyss

            May 20 - Jacqueline Kaufman

In addition to the acts on stage, The District has arranged for a food truck to be associated with the concert series. The organization has confirmed that The Quick Course will be in attendance to serve patrons that are attending the concerts.

The concerts are sponsored by The District and the First Mid-Illinois Bank.
