Entrepreneurs who plan to enter the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Plan Competition will have the opportunity to hear from past winners and ask them questions during a Brown Bag Luncheon on March 15.

The event is from noon to 1 p.m. at the Oakley Lindsay Center on the second floor. Representatives of Golden Bridges, Dr. Kristin Spear, owner of Paws at Home and Mike Monaghan of WoodStove-FireplaceGlass.com will speak at the event and answer questions. All are past winners of the Chamber’s Business Plan Competition. The event is free and open to the public, and attendees are welcome to bring their lunch.

The Chamber is offering $10,000 prize to the winner of its Business Plan Competition in 2016. All for-profit businesses in any field, including start-up companies as well as expansions of existing companies, are eligible to compete. There is no cost to participate in the competition. Each contestant must submit an entry form by April 29.

To register for the Brown Bag Luncheon, visit www.quincychamber.org or call the Chamber office at (217) 222-7980.
