The Missouri Department of Transportation is reporting a tractor trailer has overturned on Missouri Highway 6 between Lewistown and Ewing in Lewis County. Both lanes of Missouri 6 are closed from Missouri 16 to Missouri 156 while the roadway is cleared.

Train-Car Collisions in Missouri are Preventable

The numbers are out regarding the amount of collisions involving trains in Missouri. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation there were 48 train crossing collisions, 2 deaths and 36 injuries in 2013 with the 2014 numbers almost identical with 48 train crossing collisions, 2 deaths and 38 injuries.
