The first Blues in the District concert is set for June 10 with five other concerts set for June, July and August.  This will mark the 20th season for the Blues in the District Concert series. Rick Hummel Addresses the Quincy Exchange Club

The Quincy Exchange Club was honored to have Baseball Hall of Famer and sportswriter for the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Rick Hummel, as its speaker today.  Hummel, a Quincy native and 1964 graduate of Quincy High School, became the first Quincy person inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York in July of 2007 when he received the J.G. Taylor Spink Award for baseball writing.
