I was thumbing through Facebook the other night and came across a post from rebootillinois.com which listed the 25 most dangerous Illinois cities according to Law Street Media. These are cities under 100,000 people based on the FBI's violent crime rates and Quincy is listed at number 13.

A New Bridge Could Be Coming to Quincy. What Would You Name it?

The Illinois Department of Transportation held a public hearing on improvements for the Quincy Memorial Bridge Tuesday night at the Kroc Community Center in Quincy. IDOT is planning the improvements needed for the aging bridge connecting Missouri to Illinois. Discussions centered on reconstructing the bridge to totally replacing it. By the end of the evening it became apparent that IDOT is leaning toward a total bridge replacement.
