‘Oz: The Great and Powerful 2′ — Disney Is Already Prepping a Sequel

When it comes to tentpole studio releases, there's a pressure to get the next one made two or three years after the first, simply so the brand is still in people's heads. New Movies: ‘Oz the Great and Powerful,’ ‘Dead Man Down’

The recent 'Amazing Spider-Man' and the upcoming 'Man of Steel' seem to get all the attention regarding studios' attempt to "reboot" franchises, but that's pretty much the same thing as what's going on with 'Oz the Great and Powerful.' If it succeeds at the box office, we may end up with a new version of 'The Wizard of Oz' at some point very soon, even though the producers have said that's not their goal.

In 'Oz the Great and Powerful,' Oscar (James Franco) finds exactly what his heart desires; the chance to be a great man, wealthy and powerful, the ruler of a beautiful kingdom. And the kingdom does look damn good, and most of Oz's adventures in it are pretty entertaining as well.

See the Cast of ‘Honey I Shrunk The Kids’ Then and Now

The title of the 1989 family comedy 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids' pretty much explains the plot.
