I was watching the CBS News at 5:30 Monday night when they had a story about this guy who tweeted to a few thousand "tweetees" (for lack of a better term) a question of "What has been the happiest moment of your life?" Well, he was overwhelmed with the responses he got. When asked by the reporter why he thought people were so responsive to his question he answered "people are just ready to be happy and remember the happy times". With the news as bad as it has been for as long as it has been, I have to agree with him. So with all due respect to him, I would like to steal his question and ask you "What has been the happiest moment of your life so far?"
I had to be at the radio station this morning in the 4am hour to assist with some technical issues and as I was driving in I couldn't help but notice the huge full moon above. It was so bright I could have driven without my lights on . As bright as it was, it was even more illuminating when I drove home last night and saw it rising into the eastern sky. It got me to thinking about the name of this moon. Did you know that each month there is a different name for the full moon?

Entertainment Weekly Magazine recently came out with the “The 100 All-Time Greatest…” list for movies, TV shows, albums, novels and stage performances. The results were quite interesting, and certainly open for debate!
The Disney characters are a big part of what makes the Disney parks experience special for most kids and more than a few adults. Sometimes you only have time for a hug and a photo before the character moves on to the next guest and you move on to see how long the line at Space Mountain is
I have been reminiscing a little this week with it being the 20th anniversary of the West Quincy levee break and I got to thinking about making a few stops at Merkels Hardware for batteries and a flashlight and some other things. It got me thinking about the businesses that were open then and are not today, like Merkels.
Optical illusions can play some really weird tricks on our brains. We think we're looking at one thing and then... sike! It's something else. Honestly, what the heck. But you know the best type of illusions? The photograph kind, because they can be all sorts of awesome, strange and funny
We're all entitled to our own opinions, but food is arguably the best part of any holiday. See, eating our way through this sort of celebration is an automatic win-win-- we're happy, our stomach's are happy, everyone's happy.
Siri, iPhone's voice-activated personal assistant, has a reputation of being kind of a jerk. Sure she's a tad snarky and sometimes sarcastic, but she's totally misunderstood, guys. In fact, Siri's actually pretty darn funny!
We've already addressed the fact that kids make anything cute. (See: the Warheads candy challenge and burrito baby.) So since summer starts today and funny munchkins can make your day loads better, we've rounded up snapshots of kids in goggles.
