It is funny how Americans consume certain foods with certain holidays. Like turkey on Thanksgiving Day and corned beef on St. Patrick’s Day. Smokin’ Good Times BBQ Challenge Will Award $6,000 in Prizes

These last few weeks of winter have been rough. I don't know about you, but I've had enough! At the very first sign of decent weather I'll be out cooking on the grill. A friend of mine co-hosts a barbecue show, and his show has decided that the time change should officially mark the start of grilling season. I think that's a great (or grate?) idea. In June, the Quincy Knights of Columbus will host the Smokin Good Times BBQ Challenge, so it's probably a good idea to start practicing soon. Thousands of dollars are up for grabs!

The song came out in 1908 and it is played at almost every baseball game played in America including the Hannibal Cavemen and the Quincy Gems games.
