The Blues in the District has become one of Quincy's more popular events. It is attended by thousands each summer. In the 17 years of its existence people from all over the area bring their lawn chairs and coolers and enjoy some wonderful Blues music and all at absolutely no admission cost.
Fans of the Blues in the District, your wait is over as Rockin' Jake will take to the stage tonight at 5:30 to perform in the first concert of the summer. The District (formerly known as the Historic Quincy Business District) has put together another great lineup this season.

The 2014 Relay for Life of Adams County will be held this Friday night into Saturday morning at Flinn Memorial Stadium in Quincy. The event will feature cancer survivors in our area and also remember those who have lost the battle.
