The first few days of December, 2012 have been...strange, to say the least, when it comes to the weather. Most of us are not complaining. But as Christmas approaches, I can't help but think that it just won't be right if the temperature doesn't become more seasonable. And what about a white Christmas? Everyone likes a white Christmas, right?
I think the best part about Christmas is all the memories that go with it. I have a thousand memories of Christmas as a kid but one that stands out alone.
I am not sure of the year, but I was probably 8 years old and my brother was 10. He did his best trying to convince me that there was no Santa.
Quincy Community Theatre is celebrating the season with two holiday productions: 'Inspecting Carol' and 'The Santaland Diaries.'
Children age 5 to 12 will have a jolly time creating holiday gifts at the Hannibal Arts Council’s popular annual event Holly Jolly Hands-On Holiday Workshop to be held on Saturday, December 1.
I went shopping the other night and I passed a Salvation Army Kettle that was manned by a young man. I dropped in a couple of bucks as I walked out of the store and thanked him for being there. The Salvation Army is still trying to find people to man all of their kettles for this holiday season.
Canton’s Third Annual Parade of Lights is December 6th at 6 pm but the fun starts at 5pm with a short movie for the kids—“Shrek the Halls,” at the Lewis Street Playhouse.
Wow. I don't know if I can answer that question. But one song has to be the best.

'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' was the third, and considered by many to be the best, installment in the 'Vacation' franchise.
Like its predecessors, it was written by John Hughes and starred Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo. Unlike the other movies in the series, the "vacation" took place at the Griswold's home during the holiday season.
