‘Now Batting, The Big Dog and Brian Myles’

We are rapidly approaching the Major League Baseball All-Star break.  The event this year is in Minneapolis and begins with the Home Run Hitting Contest on Monday night followed by the actual All-Star Game on Tuesday night. In honor of the Home Run Hitting Contest, the two biggest baseball fans in the building, yours truly and Brian Myles, decided to head to the Quincy Park District's Batting Cage to audition for the chance to replace one of Monday's scheduled contestants if he should have to remove himself from the contest.

For some 90 years the Chicago Cubs games have been heard on WGN Radio in Chicago, but that will all come to an end when the last out of the 2014 season is made.
