I read with interest the story in the Quincy Herald Whig regarding Adams County Sheriff Brent Fischer's conversations with the Federal officials about possibly housing Federal prisoners temporarily in the Adams County Jail. It is a suggestion by the Sheriff to increase some revenue for the county. The proposal is being contemplated by the Adams County Board.It got me to thinking

The need for blood is a constant thing. Even some of the runners in the Boston Marathon, with everything going on around them and seeing the horrific scene, ran straight to the hospitals to give blood so others might live. Talk about heroes. We are so blessed to have them around us.
