‘Canstock 2015′ is Coming April 18, 2015

John Wood Community College's Psychology students will help out local food banks with "Canstock 2015."

The event is sponsored by psychology students of Danelle Batterton, JWCC adjunct psychology instructor, as a project for the spring semester. There will be live music from Logan Kammerer, Liz Bentley, West of Greenwich ,along with Jacob Tracy and CJ Dean, Jr.

"Canstock 2015" will run from 1 to 4PM on April 18 in the Mary Ellen Orr Auditorium on the main campus of John Wood Community College in Quincy at 48th and Harrison. Admittance to the event is a non-perishable item for local food pantries. People who bring more than one item will receive a raffle ticket for each additional item.

During the spring and fall semesters, psychology students hosted a variety of events to help stock local food pantries.
