"To Sustain or Enhance the Quality of Life of our Community" is the Bridge the Gap to Health mission. All the money raised from Bridge the Gap to Health stays in the community.

The 15th Annual Bridge the Gap to Health Race is Saturday, May 16 at Clatt Adams Park in Quincy starting at 8 a.m. The race benefits Quincy Catholic Charities Med Assist Program, which provides prescription assistance to area residents - regardless of race, color or religious beliefs - who cannot afford their medications.

Many years ago, the physician community, led by Dr. John Scott, determined a need to sponsor a prescription program to assist those who cannot always afford their medications." - Bridge the Gap to Health

During the first twelve years of Bridge the Gap to Health, the Quincy Catholic Charities MedAssist Program has helped fill over 48,500 prescriptions, valued at $18 Million.
