Boys Scouts Hosting Ash Wednesday Fish Fry at Blessed Sacrament School
It’s that time of year when the fish fries are in and people get fed great food.
Start the Lenten season with Boy Scout Troop #1 at Blessed Sacrament School, 7th and Adams in Quincy. They will be serving all kinds of great food, like a whole catfish dinner for $9, a walleye dinner for $7, or a hot dog dinner for $3.50. Dinners include applesauce, coleslaw, potato salad, bread, drink and dessert. Dine-in, drive-up or carry-out will all be available.
These get-togethers are important to each parish and the people who work them are all volunteers that are very happy to help with anything that needs to be done. The proceeds from the annual Ash Wednesday fish fry fund all Boy Scout programs, trips and activities at Blessed Sacrament Parish. Enjoy.
