Bowling Green Man in Custody Following Disturbance in Quincy

A Bowling Green man is in custody on four charges following a fight in progress call at Cedar Creek Crossing Apartments at 2225 North 12th in Quincy.

Police were called at 2:55 p.m. Officers arrived to find a 62-year-old Quincy man on the ground with an apparent broken ankle. He was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

During the investigation, witnesses told Quincy Police that a male later identified as 39-year-old Kyle Durham of Bowling Green was attempting to force his wife into a vehicle. Police say the 62-year-old victim and other bystanders were attempting to help the female when Durham put the vehicle into reverse. The victim was knocked to the ground.

Durham is charged with aggravated battery, unlawful restraint, reckless conduct and domestic battery. Durham was taken to the Adams County Jail.
