Blessed Sacrament Catholic Lighthouse Leadership School will host its annual “Stop & Drop” and “Back-to-School Bash” events this Sunday, August 17.  Blessed Sacrament students and their families are invited to attend the 10 a.m. Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Following the Mass, students are invited to “Stop” in to their new classroom and “Drop” off their school supplies.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for students to see their new classroom and meet their new teacher", said Chris Reichert, Principal of Blessed Sacrament School. It also relieves the burden of parents sending their children to school with all their school supplies on the first day of school.

Following the “Stop & Drop” event, all students and their families are invited to attend the “Back-to-School Bash” in the parish and school parking lot. This is a free event where school families can gather and enjoy a cookout in the parking lot. It’s a chance for Blessed Sacrament School parents and students to see familiar faces they may not have seen all summer, and also a chance to meet some of the new faces for the upcoming school year.

Classes at all four Quincy Catholic elementary schools will begin with a half-day schedule on Tuesday, August 19.
