June 23, 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the release of 'Batman,' starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. I was eight when 'Batman' came out, and I remember seeing it at the Quincy Mall theater. It was one of my all-time favorites as a kid, and it's a movie I still enjoy watching as an adult.

'Batman' was HUGE in 1989! I remember there being Batman stuff everywhere during that summer. Any product you can image had a Batman logo stamped on it. Some kids were even getting Bat-symbols buzzed into the backs of their hair. The movie also inspired 'Batman: The Ride' at Six Flags, which is still one of the park's popular attractions.

We all have movies that we loved when we were kids. Sometimes when we watch them as adults we quickly discover that we remember them being much better than they actually are, but I've always enjoyed 'Batman.' To be honest, I'd rather watch Michael Keaton's 'Batman' over any of the 'Dark Knight' movies with Christian Bale.

What was your favorite movie when you were a kid? When was the last time you watched it? Does it still seem good, now that you're an adult?
