Three juveniles are in trouble after a man was struck in the head by a B-B fired from a passing car in the 1000 block of North Fifth in Quincy.

Quincy Police were called to the scene at 4:51 Tuesday afternoon. Police say the 35-year-old adult male victim refused treatment and did not receive any injuries. Police say the vehicle involved was found in an alley between 4th and 5th, Cherry and Cedar.

The investigation determined that occupants of the car fired a B-B gun into a crowd of people in front of a residence. Two juvenile males, ages 13 and 14, and a 15-year-old female juvenile were identified. Police say they turned themselves in at the Quincy Police Department.

The two male juveniles will be referred to probation for the charges. They were released to their parents. The third juvenile was cited for no valid driver’s license and released to her mother.
