Remember Cory McCloskey? He was the weather guy at WGEM years ago. He has since moved on to other opportunities, and is currently doing weather at Fox 10 in Phoenix, Arizona. We happened to stumble across this video from Mr. McCloskey on Facebook. Something tells us this forecast didn't go according to plan, but he turned it into TV to remember. You'll want to see this!
B&B Main Street Cinema 8 in Hannibal has been hosting Retro Nights on Thursdays, usually once a month, for quite a while. This is a really fun night out. They show all sorts of movies that people have fond memories of, and tickets are only $5. They just wrapped up the 'Back to the Future' trilogy. I think 'The Princess Bride' is next. 'Dirty Dancing,' 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' and 'Halloween' are a few other movies that have been featured during Retro Night.
If there's one thing we know about our audience's TV habits, it's that they love 'The Walking Dead.' Or course, the show's a pretty big hit, so it's not just our audience. If you happen to be a fan, you might also have watched an episode or two (or all of them) of 'Talking Dead,' which is a live show for fans of 'The Walking Dead' that airs after each new episode. Comedian Chris Hardwick is the host of 'Talking Dead,' and he'll be performing at The Pageant in St. Louis in March.
The newest Miss Hannibal, Scarlett McMullen, was crowned in November. We had a chance to visit with her during Monday's St. Louis Cardinals Caravan at Hannibal-LaGrange University, where she greeted the visiting Cardinals.
