School and law enforcement officials in southeast Missouri confirm an arrest has been made in the burglary of the Palmyra Panther football team’s locker room last Saturday.

Sometime during the state semifinal football game in Malden, Missouri, the visitors’ locker room was entered and about $3,000 worth of cash, credit cards and other items were taken.

Malden Police Chief Jarrett Bullock reports the investigation into the burglary continues, but also says an arrest has been made.

School officials in Malden say they would take any necessary measures to make sure the Palmyra players are reimbursed for the stolen items.
