“Guns N’ Hoses” could be one way of describing a softball game this weekend in Palmyra.

The Palmyra Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office take on the Palmyra Fire Department and Marion County Ambulance District in a benefit softball game this Sunday, (8/26) starting at 3 pm, at the Flower City Park ball field.

The proceeds are going to a good cause, the Palmyra Angel of Hope Project. A photo of the proposed Angel, is shown here.

This game is a great way to raise funds for this very special project and have fun.

The game is free to the public however, donations will be accepted at the gate. Funds gathered, will help with the continued efforts of the Angel of Hope Project, which I know has touched parents in Palmyra and other surrounding communities.

Come watch the Police “whoop up” on the Firefighters and EMS. (This is My blog – Hey,  I can pick  sides if I want to.) The real winners here, will be the community and the Angel of Hope Project. I encourage you to attend.
