According to the City of Champaign’s website:

The Champaign Police Department is currently investigating a reported abduction involving a 13- year-old female.

On Thursday, September 5, 2013, at approximately 3:28 pm, the Champaign Police Department received a report advising that Cleo Younce, age 13, was missing from her residence in the 2400 block of Hathaway Dr. in Champaign.  Upon arrival, officers were informed that Cleo left her residence, at 12:30 pm, to go for a walk.  Cleo later contacted her mother by telephone, at approximately 3:15 pm, and informed her that she had been abducted.

Since receiving the report, detectives have been working on this case and have developed information that Cleo Younce is in the company of Nicholas R. Hurley, age 21, of Daleville Indiana. Detectives have developed information to indicate that Hurley and Cleo are acquainted with each other through family friends.

Cleo Younce is described as a White Female, age 13, 5’08’’ tall, weighs 175 pounds with
long blonde hair and blue eyes.  She was last seen wearing a dark-colored half jacket, black tank top, dark-colored jeans, and black and teal-colored tennis shoes.

Nicholas Hurley is described as a White male, age 21, 6’08 tall and weighing 295 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

At this time, the Champaign Police Department is requesting assistance from the community in locating Cleo Younce.

Detectives believe Hurley is currently driving a bronze 2000 Chevrolet Suburban with Indiana registration 261CTD. Nicholas Hurley is currently wanted for questioning in connection to the abduction and luring of Cleo Younce.  Citizens should immediately call 9-1-1, if they observe Cleo Younce, Nicholas Hurley or the Bronze Suburban. Detectives believe the vehicle may still be in the Champaign-Urbana area.
